Urban Sketching Workshops in France with Ian Fennelly September 2022

Enjoy a short break in this beautiful city and take advantage of a wonderful opportunity to learn from international USk instructor and British artist Ian Fennelly.

Ian will be offering workshops and demonstrations on 5 days from 19-23 September 2022.

The workshops start approximately 9.30am where Ian will choose a location and work through the line drawing step by step so everyone can sketch alongside.  There will be a break for lunch, which can be taken with the group but some people prefer to make their own arrangements.
After lunch, Ian will help everyone develop and complete their sketches and the workshop will finish approximately 4.30pm.  Ian often then does an additional quick sketching and invites others in the group to work along with him.

 

The cost per person is £75 per day payable in advance. This excludes any meals, refreshments or transport.

For this workshop holiday Ian will be based in Montpellier, which also has an airport and SNCF train station. If you are looking for overnight accommodation, we will be basing ourselves around Place de la Comédie in central Montpellier which is only a short walk from the main train station (Saint Roch).

    You are strongly advised to have your own travel insurance policy.
    Fees are non-refundable once booked and paid, unless the event is cancelled.
    In the very unlikely event that the artist is unable to lead the tuition (for example due to ill health), every effort will be made to replace the artist with someone with similar skills and experience. We will not cancel the holiday nor reimburse clients as a result of the artist's inability to attend.
